  3. Thanks so much, Mo!! They grow so fast!
The girls came out and watched me race last weekend, and Ev later commented that when she grows up she wants to be a runner like Mommy! Made my day!!!
And yes, this pee in the yard skill will be handy out there on the trails one day!

  4. This is hilarious! After your post on my blog I realized how far behind I am on blog reading and catching up with friends...and I couldn't find your email so excuse the long post! :)

Reid and Max are 2 years 9 months apart. Initially, getting them to sleep in the same room was a challenge (partially because Max was a really rough transition from co-sleeper to crib), and there were plenty of nights of putting one down, then the other, etc. There was probably a month of that craziness.

After the transition, the noises turned to hearing Reid sing Max to sleep, and them laughing until their laughs were silent. Now it is hearing Reid whisper, "Da-na-na-na-na-na-na-na" and Max YELLING "BATMAN!" And then Max getting shushed for yelling. Those moments make it so worth it. :)

We were "forced" (as in we only had 2 bedrooms at our old place), to put them in the same room. We were scared out of our minds to have them share, and it took a bit of work up front. But we wouldn't have it any other way.

In fact, now that we have moved we have enough room for each of them to have their own, but we (and they) don't want to have their own room. When we initially proposed it there were tears from Reid exclaiming, "But I can't sleep without my brother." :) We know it won't last forever, so we're milking it while we can. It does make traveling a lot easier too, as they are used to being "bunked" in the same room.

Alright, that was probably more than you needed to know.

And yes, sometimes there are still "go the heck to sleep" moments...
