A true accomplishment!

Yesterday, Annie received word that one of her papers will get published. This isn't just any paper, this is the paper that was the bulk of her graduate work at OHSU as well as the main topic of her thesis. Annie has had other publications but this one in particular is the icing on the cake otherwise known as grad school. I just want to say how proud I am of her, her hard work and her achievements. In her profession, there is a vast disparity between the amount of work and amount of acknowledgement. Times like this are a confirmation that her science is respected and honored as well as impetuous to keep moving forward.
