They say when a child nears the age of 1 they are ready for cow's milk. Well here we are nearing the age of 1 and here we go drinking some cow's milk. You all know that Annie and I aren't necessarily au naturale but we thought we'd keep the milk as pure as possible for awhile to see how this goes. So what you see here is some purely whole cow's milk with nothing added and low temp pasteurized. We are mixing it in with her formula at a ratio of 1:4 and so far so good. You also gotta love the glass bottle! Now I just need a fellow dressed all in white to deliver it whenever need be.

11 months!

Miss Ev is 11 months today! 

She's crawling everywhere, walking along anything she can get her hands on and is spending more and more time balancing on her own. She's also really enjoying eating pretty much anything we put in front of her these days...  

In terms of height and weight, well, we know she's somewhere in the 18-18.5lb range and has nearly grown out of her carseat, so she must be nearing 30 inches. 

New this month: clapping and mimicking sounds we make, standing alone, eating many more dairy products, walking behind her little car and FINALLY fitting in her 9-12 month clothes.  Of course, she is more and more independent as the days go by and is introducing us to her personality little by little.  (Well, sometimes it doesn't feel so little... sometimes it feels like a LOT of attitude. This little gal knows what she wants!)

We can't believe she'll be a year in just one more month.

Time really does fly.
